Gwyn McCormack is the director of Positive Eye, which was established over 14 years ago. At Positive Eye Gwyn combines her creativity and knowledge to write and create programmes, courses and resources to support professionals and families working or supporting children with complex learning needs/vision impairment. Her business is international – her programmes are used and her work is respected by many countries.

In this session, Gwyn explains how a simple, effective multi-sensory approach to story is helping children with complex learning needs and vision impairment find their own starting point for literacy, and shares the practical, low-cost strategies practitioners can use in their own settings.
