Dr Louise Mansell is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist at ‘Beyond Psychology’ (previously known as Nurture Psychology Rochdale).

In this episode, she discusses emotional regulation and what this may look like in children’s behaviour; emotional resilience and how every interaction we have with children can be therapeutic; and how listening to our instincts is a good thing!

Beyond Psychology is a not for profit social enterprise working with parents, carers children and schools, specialising in supporting children with early life trauma, with a large element of working to promote emotional well-being, and help people look beyond behaviour of young people and support them, to improve mental health in the future. It was co-founded by Dr Louise Mansell and Dr Kirsty Hughes.
