About Early Years TV

The Early Years TV mission is to bring you the very best strategies, tips and techniques to improve and inspire your practice and better support the children in your care.

We want to bring high quality information and training to Early Years Practitioners and Educators around the world and we want to make it either free or easily affordable for all.

You’re out there every day making a real difference to the lives of the children in your care. And yet there’s so little available training and support to help you. We want to change all that.

Each week we feature a free 20-40 minute interview with a leading expert specifically selected to get you up to speed fast on an important Early Years topic or area of interest.

We cover topics like personal, social and emotional development, play, neuroscience and observations, all the way through to leadership and management, news updates, and sometimes simply examples and stories to inspire you.

Each interview is posted on Friday evening (UK time) and is available to watch completely free for a week, until the next episode is posted.

The History of Early Years TV

Early Years TV is the brainchild of Kathy Brodie – that’s me over on the right 🙂

I’ve been running the Early Years Summit online since 2016 and through the summits over 100,000 Early Years Educators and Practitioners have got access to some of the world’s best thinking and practical tips on topics such as Outdoor Play & Learning, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communicating with Young Children, Speech, Language and Communication and Physical Development.

The summits are a brilliant way for practitioners to get access to lots of information and ideas all at once. But it struck me that it would also be great to be able to access high quality tips and training on an ongoing basis – a little bit at a time.

That’s where Early Years TV comes in.

With Early Years TV you can get the best ideas and insights along with news and updates all at a manageable pace. At 30 minutes a week you can fit it in to your schedule even in busy weeks. Yet over a year it adds up to over 25 hours of brilliant training.

I do hope you find Early Years TV valuable, and make it a regular part of your agenda every week.

Enjoy the resources!
