A husband and father of one, Thor is an outdoors adventurist and long time educator in the fields of Adapted Physical Education and Health & Wellness. He has designed and led outdoor school and community based programs for over 25 years with children ranging in ages from 3 to teenagers as well as for adults.
Thor is a proponent of the value of outdoor experiences for a well-rounded and healthy lifestyle and a firm believer in unstructured play. He has witnessed time and time again the positive transformation that takes place in children physically, mentally, emotionally and behaviourally when they are allowed to unplug and fully immerse themselves in natural sensory experiences.
