Sara Thakrar is the Founder and the Director of Innovation at Blossom Educational, provider of nursery management software. She has over 10 years teaching experience in the Early Years and has also been part of the management of a large setting. She holds a Bachelors in Education Studies and is EYT qualified.
In this interview we discuss how parent’s attitudes have changed and the impact this has had on pedagogy to meet those extra needs and concerns. Sara explains how leaders and managers of Early Years settings can support staff with extra training and observations, and suggests some long term strategies to carry this work forward for the future. She also discusses her Parent Liaison Groups – a great method to build and maintain parent partnerships.
