Kate Shelley on the Emotional Support of Storytelling

Introduction

Kate Shelley has worked in early years across Primary Schools, Nursery Schools and Children’s Centres. She is super passionate about children having the opportunity to play, and think school should be a place where creativity, curiosity and a passion for learning starts. Kate has developed Tales Toolkit for just these reasons.

In this interview, we discuss how narrative or storytelling helps to support children’s wellbeing; how this can help build children’s resilience; how Tales Toolkit can help children’s emotional wellbeing and support parents
