June O’Sullivan, MBE is a qualified Psychiatric Nurse and Social Worker and is passionate about children’s wellbeing, especially through equal access to the same, high quality, opportunities for learning. She achieves this as CEO of the award-winning London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) – the UK’s leading childcare charity and Social Enterprise – as well as being a regular commentator on Early Years, Social Enterprise and Child Poverty/Social Mobility. She works closely with the UK Government to better implement their vision for Early Years – with a particular focus on improving quality and promote better understanding of the incredible long-term benefits of play-based Early Years education for everyone.
