Deborah Stewart on play based activities and environments

Introduction

Deborah Stewart is passionate about children learning through play and has been in the field of early childhood education for over 30 years.

She owns her own small private preschool called The Children’s Studio for children ages three to five years old, writes the highly successful ‘Teach Preschool’ Blog, is often a guest moderator of The Bam Radio show, is the Early Learning Expert for Indiana Fox 59 Morning News AND speaks at conferences across the US!

In this video, learn how Deborah sets up the environment for children to give them the experiences that are engaging, provides learning and are play based. We also discuss how to effectively include STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) into Early Childhood experiences, without any extra planning.
