Bev Bacon has worked in the Early Years for 20 years across a range of roles from practitioner through to management, training and Human Resources. Bev and Kelly Hill co-founded Early Years Leadership (previously known as The Key Leadership) to provide leadership support for leaders and managers in the Early Years sector.
In this interview, we discuss what we mean by ‘intentional’ leadership and especially why this is important for the Early Years sector. I was particularly interested to learn about the different leadership styles and how this fitted with intentional leadership, as well as the benefits and pitfalls.
Bev also has some great strategies and top tips for aspiring managers and leaders to help them keep on track for successful, intentional, leadership.
