Sue Asquith on Self-Regulation in the Early Years

Sue Asquith has been a registered childminder (graded Ofsted Outstanding twice), mentor, lead childminder affiliated with local children centres and an early lead language practitioner.

Her first book Self-Regulation Skills in Young Children was published by JKP in April 2020.

In this interview, Sue explains what we mean by self-regulation, how we can foster a sense of belonging in an Early Years setting and the challenges to self-regulation in general and the additional challenges COVID-19 has brought.
